Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of RSTR websites, apps, APIs, workspaces, and related services. By using RSTR, you agree to these terms and to any additional policies or disclosures presented for specific features.
If you are using RSTR on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and references to "you" include that organization.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information when creating or using an account.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account or credentials.
You must keep your sign-in methods and connected email accounts secure.
You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised or used without authorization.
Service scope and changes
RSTR is a workforce and automation product that helps users organize work, collaborate with scoped AI agents, and connect approved third-party services. Some features are experimental or in beta, and availability may change over time.
We may add, remove, suspend, or modify features to improve the service, address abuse, comply with law, or reflect product changes. We will not quietly expand data use or materially change contractual terms in a deceptive way.
Acceptable use
Use the service for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, deceptive, or infringing activity.
Attempt to bypass product permissions, approval controls, rate limits, paywalls, or security protections.
Upload or transmit malware, harmful code, credential stuffing attempts, spam, or content that interferes with service integrity.
Use the service to exploit others, impersonate people or organizations, or generate content that violates law or the rights of others.
Use output or automation in a way that requires licensed professional judgment without appropriate human review, especially for legal, financial, medical, tax, safety-critical, or similarly high-risk matters.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of the content, prompts, files, and other material you submit to RSTR, subject to the rights needed for us to operate the service.
You grant us and our service providers a limited right to host, copy, transmit, process, and display your content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service, comply with law, and enforce these terms.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights needed to submit content and connect third-party resources through the product.
AI output and automations
AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, offensive, or unsuitable for your use case. Output is not a substitute for professional advice.
You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and deciding whether to rely on any output, recommendation, draft, or automation before acting on it.
Output may not be unique, and similar or identical output may be generated for other users.
Connected services
RSTR may let you connect external providers such as email, storage, calendars, code hosts, or other software services. Your use of those providers is also governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
We are not responsible for the availability, security, or practices of third-party services, and we may limit or disable integrations if a provider changes its policies, permissions, or technical access.
Billing and subscriptions
We may suspend or limit access to paid features if payment fails, a charge is reversed, or we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.
Where we disclose a purchased-credit expiration policy, that policy applies only to future purchases made after the disclosure becomes effective. We do not silently convert older balances into shorter-lived credits.
If we offer paid plans, subscriptions, or credit packs, the applicable prices, billing intervals, taxes, and renewal terms will be shown at checkout or in your account.
At launch, web is the primary billing surface for paid subscriptions and credit purchases. Native app billing behavior may differ by platform and available channel.
Included weekly plan credits reset each weekly cycle, do not stack, and do not convert into purchased credits or cash value.
Promotional credits may expire. Unless a product flow says otherwise, onboarding promo credits expire 14 days after grant.
Purchased credits granted under a disclosed expiration policy expire 12 months after purchase unless mandatory law requires a longer period or prohibits expiration. Existing purchased credits will not be retroactively shortened by a later policy change.
If applicable law requires a longer validity period, prohibits expiration, or gives you a refund or redemption right, that law controls.
Unless a separate policy, product flow, or applicable law says otherwise, fees are non-refundable after the paid period starts or purchased credits are made available.
You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or governmental charges associated with your use of paid services unless the law says otherwise.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using RSTR at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create legal or security risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the service in a way that could harm users, providers, or the platform.
We may also discontinue the service or a feature with reasonable notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including billing obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute-related terms, will continue to apply.
Disclaimers
RSTR is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific uptime, perfect security, or that the service will be error-free or suitable for every use case.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RSTR and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the specific paid service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event or one hundred U.S. dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law or overrides non-waivable consumer rights.
Changes, questions, and disputes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required. Changes will not apply retroactively in a deceptive or unfair way.
If we change how credits work, we will describe whether the change applies only to future grants or purchases, and we will honor any longer transition or validity period required by law.
If you have questions about these terms, billing, or a dispute, contact us at hello@rstrapp.com before escalating. We prefer to resolve issues directly and quickly where possible.
